GMB The satellite event in Filogaso

Parallel to the Global Day desired by Pope Francis to celebrate boys and girls and reflect on the education and care of the youngest, we are organizing a satellite event in Filogaso to amplify the echo of the initiative. We bring together the community of Filogaso to celebrate World Children’s Day, in its first global edition, thanks to the help of the Foundation’s many volunteers and volunteers from local entities (Terra Amica, I Sogni di Matilde, Centro Udire, Pro-loco di Filogaso, Filogaso Soccer School, “Dance For Life” Dance School, Campisi Caffè).

A day of reflection and celebration, coordinated with the support of Father Enzo Fortunato, to emphasize theimportance of the role of the new generations as protagonists of the future and our responsibility as a society to protect, educate and support young people, providing them with the tools and resources they need to face future challenges with determination and creativity.

Filogaso children dance, paint and participate in team motor games. With the art workshop that allows the children to imprint their footprints on white cloths and bring out with writing and colors an image representative of their vision of the world, present and future, we pay homage to the logo chosen by the Vatican for the Day. Against the backdrop of St. Peter’s Dome in the logo, the footprints recall the characteristic gestures of humanity’s childhood, and the different colors represent the multiplicity of cultures that are composed in a unity that welcomes and values differences. With this initiative we therefore place the condition of children at the center, offering a space for reflection on their future and the world we intend to hand over to them.
