The Augurusa Foundation Aboard the Amerigo Vespucci
The Consulate General of Italy in Boston Welcomes an Augurusa Foundation Delegation to North America
At the invitation of Arnaldo Minuti, Consul General of Italy in Boston, the Augurusa Foundation stepped aboard the Amerigo Vespucci, the oldest active ship in the Italian Navy. After stopping in Baltimore and New York, the ship arrived in Boston for an evening dedicated to celebrating Italian excellence around the world.
A delegation from the Augurusa Foundation is travelling across the United States and Canada to lay the groundwork for the upcoming opening of operational chapters, which will facilitate the implementation of Generative Restitution models in local and international contexts. The Foundation has already established its first US presence in New York earlier this year, with the Augurusa Foundation US Fund at Myriad USA.
The Amerigo Vespucci’s visit to Boston therefore provided an opportunity to strengthen a relationship that began last summer during an institutional mission led by our President, Francesco Augurusa. That relationship has continued to grow: this June, the Consulate General of Italy in Boston further supported the Foundation’s work by joining the faculty of the third edition of the Green Social Impact Manager programme.
The Foundation’s work represents a fundamental bridge between Italy and the United States.

Representing the Consulate, Professor Paolo Gaudenzi, Scientific Affairs Counsellor, contributed to the Foundation’s free advanced training programme in social impact and environmental sustainability with a lecture entitled “The Role of Italy’s Diplomatic Network Abroad in Advancing the Sustainable Development Goals.”
“We are delighted to welcome the Augurusa Foundation’s plans to expand its activities within this consular district. The Foundation’s work represents a fundamental bridge between Italy and the United States, both in terms of shared values and operational cooperation, and will strengthen ties between the two countries. Boston is home to an Italian community of exceptional human, academic and entrepreneurial calibre which, I am certain, will make a significant contribution to the growth of this initiative.”
