Energie con il Sud is a three-year project promoted by Fondazione Snam ETS and Fondazione CON IL SUD, coordinated by Isola Catania Impresa Sociale S.r.l. and Brindisi & C. ETS, with the aim of supporting the training and employment inclusion of 300 young NEETs (Not in Education, Employment or Training), aged between 18 and 29 and living in Southern Italy, in the renewable energy sector.

Active until September 2028, the project involves four regions of Southern Italy (Calabria, Puglia, Campania, and Sicily) through the collaboration with four non-profit organizations operating in the respective territories: Fondazione Augurusa, “Seme di Pace” Social Cooperative, Consorzio Mestieri Puglia S.C.S., and Mestieri Campania – Social Cooperative.

Energie con il Sud includes the development of twelve training pathways over the three-year period, combining technical skills, career guidance, mentoring, and placement support, with the goal of preparing new professional profiles for the energy transition and the green labour market.

As Fondazione Augurusa, we operate in the Vibo Valentia area, where we contribute our expertise in training and employment inclusion, developed over the years through our Virtus Lab model.
