From Him to Us: Antonio’s Voice Guiding the House of Peace
Throughout his short life, Antonio devoted himself with love and care to his community, his family, and the nature around him, striving to make the world a “home” for everyone.
From young Antonio’s crayon drawing and the testimony of his life emerged the vision of a the House of Peace—a space where everyone can feel welcomed and part of a great Human Family, and where peace is understood not simply as the absence of conflict, but as the active promotion of the well-being of people and the natural environment.
For us, building a House of Peace today means transforming social reality from a source of deprivation and insecurity into a place of shelter and opportunity, while giving every person the tools to become the first agent of change in their own life.
To achieve this goal, we developed the Generative Restitution paradigm—a new approach to nonprofit action that makes everyone part of the change.
From Antonio’s life and example, we draw our core values. Today, we carry forward his legacy through these four principles, which together reflect his approach to life and embody his message.
