Over 1,000 Candidates from Italy and Abroad Choose Filogaso: the Green Social Impact Manager Course is Born
The Augurusa Foundation leads the sustainable initiative that conquers the international stage
After the great success of the first edition, the new edition starts in Filogaso (VV), from September 2 to October 16, 2025, of the free Advanced Training course in Green Social Impact Manager, promoted by the Augurusa Foundation with the patronage of the Regional Council of Calabria, the Province of Vibo Valentia, the Municipality of Filogaso and UCID – Christian Union of Business Executives, and in collaboration with APCO – Italian Professional Association of Management Consultants, FERPI – Italian Public Relations Federation and Italian Climate Network.
A program designed to train young people ready to lead the ecological and social transition within companies, public administrations and Third Sector organizations.
This new edition marks a natural evolution of the project: even more focused on the themes of sustainability, climate change, circular economy and social justice. The Green Social Impact Manager course trains a new professional figure, with environmental specialization, capable of integrating sustainability strategies and social responsibility within organizations.
The course will be held entirely in person in Filogaso, with an intensive and residential format of 280 hours of multidisciplinary training, including lectures, workshops, project work and discussion sessions. The faculty includes global leaders in finance, energy, and innovation: Javiera Brañes (IRENA – IACT), Max Falcone (Connect4Climate – World Bank Group), Jacopo Bencini (Italian Climate Network), Yohannes Bimrew (HuluSolar), Antonio Piemontese (WIRED) and Renato Loiero (Economic Advisor to the Prime Minister) along with other international experts.
For this second edition, the Augurusa Foundation has opened 27 positions, covering all participation costs and providing free accommodation for non-local students. The selection process will continue until Sunday, August 31. To apply, complete the form at: www.socialimpactmanager.it
A real opportunity for those who want to train without economic barriers and experience an immersive and concrete social impact experience, emphasizing the need to combat economic and social marginalization of communities and reverse demographic decline by investing in repopulating territories and supporting territorial competitiveness and local development.
The program is structured in 12 modules, covering topics such as sustainable development planning, corporate sustainability, stakeholder engagement, artificial intelligence and social impact. Upon completion, the most deserving participants will have the opportunity for an internship at the Foundation or with partner organizations.
The free Advanced Training course in Green Social Impact Manager was created as a social project rooted in the territory, aiming to build an educational community and enhance inner areas, creating concrete opportunities for young people and new local development models: a project that promotes social cohesion and invests in territories as active spaces for training, innovation, change, and sustainable development.
A project that combines training, social innovation, and sustainable development in the heart of Calabria.
