The Public Prosecutor of Vibo Valentia Camillo Falvo takes the chair with the Augurusa Foundation
Prosecutor Falvo is expected in Filogaso on Wednesday, October 1, for a day dedicated to “Legality, Ethics, and Community” as part of the Augurusa Foundation’s Green Social Impact Manager project under the high patronage of the European Parliament
On Wednesday October 1, 2025, the Antonio Emanuele Augurusa Foundation is promoting a day of high institutional and community value in Filogaso (VV) dedicated to “Legality, Ethics, and Community” as part of the Green Social Impact Manager project.
During the morning, the Public Prosecutor at the Court of Vibo Valentia, Camillo Falvo, will be present in Filogaso as a speaker and lecturer for the students of the Augurusa Foundation. The intervention will focus on the themes of legality, public ethics, and the fight against organized crime, with particular reference to the role of institutions and the need to promote, especially among the youth, a culture of responsibility, active citizenship, and trust in institutions.
This is not the first time that Prosecutor Falvo has expressed his support for the Foundation’s initiatives by taking part in the activities personally. Last April, as a guest of the Foundation and the municipal administration of Filogaso, he held a Lectio Magistralis for the young participants of the first edition of the free Social Impact Manager Advanced Training course. The Foundation’s commitment to promoting the culture of legality and spreading the values of justice was highlighted by Prosecutor Falvo himself, who stated in a recent interview:
“I can only express my most convinced appreciation for the work carried out by the Augurusa Foundation. With the hope that other entities can follow its example and that this model can be replicated, continuing to inspire and generate change, I renew my compliments to the Foundation for the fundamental contribution it offers to the growth of Calabria and Southern Italy.”
The Prosecutor’s participation confers significant importance to the initiative, highlighting the importance of dialogue between the judiciary, educational bodies, and young people, and strengthening the Foundation’s commitment to promoting opportunities for in-depth study and awareness on issues central to the socio-economic development of the territory. “As a Foundation, we express deep gratitude to Prosecutor Falvo for the closeness and trust shown. For us, it is not only an important recognition of the work done so far, but above all a precious encouragement to continue with even greater commitment and determination on the path we have taken. We are convinced that, by actively collaborating with the institutions, it is possible to contribute concretely to the construction of a better future for Calabria,” declared the President of the Augurusa Foundation, Francesco Augurusa. The day will continue with a community lunch at the Filogaso lower secondary school, named after Antonio Augurusa in 2020 by the Ministry of Education and Merit, promoted by the Foundation in collaboration with the Parish and the Municipal Administration on the occasion of the International Day of Older Persons. The initiative, aimed at the citizenship, intends to enhance the role of elderly people as custodians of historical memory, family cohesion, and cultural capital, with a view to strengthening the intergenerational bond and promoting the community dimension. The entire day is part of the project path of the Antonio Emanuele Augurusa Foundation, oriented towards the promotion of legality, the dissemination of best practices, and the construction of educational and civic contexts oriented towards inclusion, co-responsibility, and social cohesion.
