On the occasion of Earth Day, celebrated every year on April 22, we launched the event “Climate Education: Towards a More Sustainable Future” in Filogaso, under the prestigious patronage of the Italian Ministry of Environment and Energy Security.
An entire day dedicated to environmental education and the future of our territories, featuring the children of the local Sant’Onofrio School Institute alongside young talents who travelled from across Italy and abroad to take part in the third edition of our Green Social Impact Manager Advanced Training Course.
The programme included games, educational workshops for children and adults, and a high-level training panel featuring contributions from: Filogaso Mayor Massimo Trimmeliti, G.A.M.A. Technology CEO Mafalda Maiolino, President of the Tropea branch of the Società Dante Alighieri Titti Rando, and representatives of CLG Eureka.
The day concluded with a message from Kathleen Rogers, President of the Earth Day Network, who shared a message of hope and trust from the United States, addressing the young people and children gathered in Filogaso.
It was an opportunity not only to promote education on sustainability and environmental responsibility — themes that are particularly close to our mission — but also to witness a united community capable of overcoming generational divides and learning from shared experiences, in the true spirit of an educational community.
