The Augurusa President Becomes a Torchbearer of the Olympic Flame of Peace
On Saturday, December 20, President Augurusa carried the Olympic Flame through the streets of Vibo Valentia, during its second stage in Calabria. The event brought together representatives from the local sports community, institutions, and the region’s business sector, highlighting the strong connection between sport, communities, and citizens.
With the appointment of our President as a Torchbearer of the Olympic Truce, we renew our commitment to promoting a message of peace, solidarity, and inclusion, reaffirming that sport should be a tool for dialogue and connection among peoples.
